Travelodge might not offer travel industry discount rates, but their rates are so competitive to start with they should still be considered.

As the UK’s first budget hotel brand launched in 1985, Travelodge now has over 35,000 rooms in the UK as well as 11 hotels in Ireland and 6 in Spain.

Locations are spread across city centres, off main roads, and of course, near airports. With most Travelodge hotels recently renovated, the key thing to note is that most importantly the value – with sale prices frequently starting at incredibly low rates the hotels can offer be better value even that a competitor offering a heavily discounted rate.

Although Travelodge hotels are exclusively double bedded, they do offer family rooms with separate roll-out sofa beds.

For those shooting off on their holidays, Travelodge has an amazing range of airport hotels and if the hotels are not within walking distance of the terminal they will offer shuttle buses.
